Inward or Outward?

What happens when we focus too much on ourselves?

We have a “Inny” attitude

What happens when we focus on others?

Then we have an “Outie”.

Companies get bogged down with a lot of Innies. They only worry about their position and mobility inside the company. They want to destroy the people who might get their promotion. They are only interested in the customers that make them look good.

When you get the folks in the office to become outies, they start helping each other and they do the right thing for the customer. When this happens, others inside the company see you as a leader and start following you and promoting you. Your customers spend more and refer you to their friends.

Find a way to help your Inny friends become outies! Everybody else in the company will love you for it!
